Letting Go

Peace Guide podcast #1: CLUTTER, part 2

A follow-up to Peace Guide podcast #1: CLUTTER, it clarifies some of the points I made during the previous podcast. The inspiration is to look at one view of "clutter" and a way of resolving it. Often clutter exists because of dependencies, that one object remains as clutter because of other issues which have not been resolved. The other issues are the dependencies which cause the clutter to remain in the role of clutter. There are three steps to resolving clutter which I describe in this episode:
  1. Just let go.. is it really the end of the world to dispose of the clutter?
  2. If you can't just let it go, then it's time to explore the clutter a little. With a piece of paper draw out all the dependencies you can think of. Then ask yourself, do these ideas still make any sense?
  3. Finally, with that diagram in hand, and having proved to yourself that the dependencies still need to be resolved, work to resolve them
With these steps may you become free of your clutter.

Peace Guide podcast #1: CLUTTER

Clutter is a common problem many of us share, and one that's been part of my life for a long long time. I've made this part of my self exploration and healing of myself to explore the causes of my issues with clutter. This morning I had an inspiration about one source of clutter and how to deal with it. [video]
